Serious History with a
Welcome PT Lovers!
We love royal history – especially the Plantagenets and Tudors. We’ve been reading and writing and talking and gossiping about these fascinating people for years. To us, they are like well-loved friends or distant relatives … and we just can’t get enough of them!
And, since you found us, I bet you love them as much as we do.
That’s why we created this community, that we call e-Royalty. We wanted a place where PT lovers can come together to learn, share and experience in a new and unique way our intriguing and complex friends, the Plantagenets and Tudors – from the magnificent Eleanor of Aquitaine to the dazzling Elizabeth Tudor, and all of England’s best (and worst) in-between.
We call it serious history with a pop twist.
Sure, you’ll get the in-depth, well-researched articles about your favorite ‘middle-age’ royals to read and enjoy. But instead of passively experiencing the information, we invite you to get actively involved in their lives by lending your thoughts and insights through our active discussion groups. You can comment all you want or just sit back and enjoy the lively conversation.
At e-Royalty we’ll ask the fun and controversial ‘What if’ questions that can change history. We’ll challenge your knowledge with fun surveys, pop quizzes and Top 10’s.
We’ll go inside the marriages, murder and mayhem and dish on them all. We’ll visit the castles where our Royals lived, the cathedrals where they worshipped, the battlefields where they fought. We’ll venture back into the Middle Ages and bring it all to life in our Lifestyle section.
And we’ll keep you up-to-date on the “must reads” and the “what’s hot” in medieval fiction, non-fiction and programming.
It doesn’t matter if you’re newly intrigued by our Elizabeths and Eleanors, Edwards and Henry’s, Isabellas and Richards … or if you’re dear friends already, you’ll soon find e-Royalty to be your favorite, friendly corner of the web to belong, learn and participate in all things Plantagenet and Tudor.
